Community Medical Group is proud to announce that they are among one of the few medical centers that have received and is distributing the COVID-19 vaccines. This great news comes at a time of much need. A group of our medical centers are currently administering vaccinations to not only their patient base, but to anyone in the community.
ALL PERSONS 18 YEARS OF AGE AND OLDER ARE ELIGIBLE TO RECEIVE THE VACCINE IN FLORIDA
(As of Monday, April 5, all Florida residents shall be eligible to receive any COVID-19 vaccine as prescribed by the Food and Drug Administration.)
PERSONS AGES 16-17: The Pfizer vaccine is authorized for persons age 16 and up. The Moderna and Janssen (Johnson and Johnson) vaccines are authorized for persons age 18 and up. All individuals under the age of 18 receiving a vaccine must be accompanied by a guardian and complete the COVID-19 vaccine screening and consent form.
The guidelines for whom can get the vaccine are constantly being updated, so we urge you to stay informed to any changes that may come in the months ahead. However, please call us and we will guide you to make sure you are eligible for a vaccination, prior to your visit.
